Hikidashiguro bowl white

The black glaze made of iron and ash has its origin from Japan, but was modified by Matthias Kaiser. All the pieces with the iron/ash glaze were burned very hot in the ceramic furnace, which melts the metal and the ash together. This approach creates an interesting structure. Kaiser uses clay that has its origin in the Czech Republic and is completely natural.

Each piece is unique, so shapes and colors may vary. This bowl is also available in other colorways: yellow/blackorange/black
